Volunteer Sign-Ups Are Now Open!
7/31/25, 8:30 PM
Want to make a difference with your time? Volunteer with Kids Closet Project—we’re officially opening sign-ups!

We’re excited to announce that volunteer sign-ups are now OPEN—and we’d love for you to be part of our growing hive of helpers!
Whether you’re looking to lend a hand once or become a regular part of our mission, there’s a place for you here. Volunteers are the heartbeat of Kids Closet Project, and there are so many meaningful ways to get involved, including:
Sorting and organizing donated clothing
Assembling Teacher Tote Kits and hygiene packs
Helping with local donation drives
Hosting a pop-up event or drop-off bin
Spreading the word in your school or workplace
No special experience is required—just a kind heart and a willingness to show up. Whether you're a parent, teacher, student, or community member, your time can directly impact a child’s confidence and comfort in the classroom.
“As someone who’s been on both sides—needing the help and now giving it—I can say this work truly matters,” says founder Shay Slaughter. “Every sock, every tote, every smile we help create starts with volunteers.”
