Kids Closet Project Officially Launches!

We’re thrilled to announce the official launch of Kids Closet Project! This nonprofit was created to fill a critical gap in schools: helping students who need basic clothing or hygiene items—quietly, quickly, and without shame.

Our model is simple: we equip teachers with the supplies they need to meet real student needs in real time. Whether it’s a pair of socks, a clean shirt, or a toothbrush, these small items make a big impact on student confidence and daily comfort.

Founded by Shay Slaughter, Kids Closet Project is built on the belief that every child deserves to feel clean, comfortable, and cared for—and that teachers shouldn’t have to shoulder that burden alone. We’re buzzing with excitement and deeply grateful for the early support from our community.
